Build Your Service Catalog
The catalog is your price list. Save each service you offer once, and reuse it in every proposal instead of retyping the same lines and prices.
Add a catalog item
Open Catalog and add an item. Each one holds:
- Name — what the client sees on the proposal, e.g. "Landing page design".
- Description — optional detail about what's included.
- Price and currency — the default amount charged.
- Unit — whether the item is priced per unit, hour, day, or project. This is a label for you and your client; it doesn't change the maths.
- Display order — controls where the item appears in the list. Lower numbers come first.
Keep the list clean with Active
Every item has an Active switch. Turning an item off hides it when you're building a proposal, but keeps it in your catalog and leaves past proposals untouched.
Use this for seasonal work or a service you've stopped selling, instead of deleting it.
Use it in a proposal
While composing a proposal, choose Add from catalog and pick an item. It's copied into the proposal as a line item, with the price filled in.
Once it's in the proposal you can freely change the description, quantity, or price — the proposal keeps its own copy. Editing a catalog item later never changes a proposal you already created, so your sent and signed proposals stay exactly as the client saw them.
When to use custom lines instead
You don't have to catalog everything. For one-off work, add a line item directly in the proposal and type the description and price. The catalog is for the services you quote again and again.
